A Modest Video Game Proposal - Open Beta
An interactive video game
This video game is an attempt to address a major problem plaguing the video game industry today: too many games are made by large
companies, while small studios and individuals with a good idea rarely get the opportunity to see their ideas get made and come to
fruition.
One such intrepid individual is Jack Thompson, a Miami
attorney who
moonlights as a game designer. We decided that one of his recent game
ideas was good enough, and since he was kind enough to release the rights to his idea into the public domain, we decided to make
his game. In doing so, we tried very hard to stay true to his original
artistic vision, frequently consulting his design as we made the game. What we present here is a public open beta - please try
it and give us your feedback. We hope to get enough live testing done in time for a February 2006
release date.
